Keeps the Receipts

Who's getting rich off your grocery bill?

ER nurse. State Auditor. From Youngstown.

I spent twelve years telling families the truth in an ER. I'm not going to start sugarcoating it now. Somebody in Washington ought to be on the side of the people who do the work.

The deal

The game is rigged, and somebody finally has the receipts. — Tess Kovach

Nurses and auditors don't get to make excuses. We fix the problem or somebody gets hurt. Washington should work the same way. I'm not asking which party you're in. I'm asking who's getting rich off your grocery bill, and who's actually going to do something about it.

Why I'm running

She catches them.

For four years as State Auditor I followed the money. No-bid contracts. Companies that overcharged taxpayers. I made powerful people show their receipts.

He votes with them.

Every attack on the incumbent is a specific vote with a specific cost to a specific family. I audited the waste. He's got the voting record.

This is fixable.

Ohio built the middle class once. We can do it again. The anger comes paired with a plan, because a complaint is not a campaign.
